Convaid Inc. is teaming up with Centric Health to expand the distribution of its pediatric wheelchairs throughout Canada.
The partnership covers the distribution of Convaid's WC19 transit-ready options as well as comprehensive seating and positioning options in order to accommodate the needs of children.
“We are extremely excited about formalizing a partnership with Centric Health,” Convaid President Chris Braun said. “By expanding distribution, we are ensuring that pediatric push wheelchairs are available to children living with special needs and their families throughout Canada.”
Convaid manufactures pediatric push wheelchairs in various sizes and models. The company's' patented compact folding technology allows custom wheelchairs to easily be carried up steps, placed in the trunk of most compact cars, or used while traveling.
“We’ve enjoyed a long working relationship with Convaid and we continue to take pride in offering our customers Convaid products,” Centric Health Corporation President/CEO David Cutler said. “Expanding distribution of these wheelchairs in Canada demonstrates the value we believe these chairs will bring to individuals living with special needs.”
Based in Torrance, Calif., Convaid produces mobility products for all stages of a young person’s life, from infancy to young adulthood. Each product is custom-built to individual specifications to provide the optimum comfort, safety, and convenience.
As a diversified healthcare company with investments in several niche service areas, Centric Health currently has operations in medical assessments, disability and rehabilitation management, physiotherapy and surgical centers, homecare, specialty pharmacy and wellness and prevention.
