BIT Group (www.Group-BIT.com) has introduced its new, improved optics laboratory within BIT Analytical Instruments, GmbH located in Schwalbach, Germany. The lab, which has been optimized for operational and maintenance efficiency, has been relocated to a climate controlled facility in close proximity to the production department in order to better facilitate access by production and R&D personnel. A clean room area has been established and additional laser safety equipment ac-commodates lasers up to class 3B.
BIT Group has extensive experience with series production as well as devel-opment and re-design of diagnostic instruments with various optical detection systems. As in its former lab, BIT Group’s new lab is equipped with cali-brated spectrometers, optical power meters and standard optics tools and systems used in constructing various test assemblies. Additional optics equipment/capabilities include photomultiplier units; photometers for turbidi-metry and nephelometry; multicolor fluorescence microscopes; confocal mi-croscopy; evanescent field technology; and high-resolution imaging. (For convenience of U.S. Customers, Source Scientific LLC, a BIT Group company located in California, USA, also has an optics laboratory.)
For more than 30 years, BIT Group (www.Group-BIT.com) has provided in-strument contract product development, manufacturing and after-sale serv-ices to medical, diagnostic, and bio-technology clients.
