Wytech Industries, a contract manufacturer of precision-ground wire and metal tube components for the medical device industry (supported by Vance Street Capital) began a commercial partnership with David Schnur Associates (DSA), an independent sales organization to the medical device industry.
The partnership combines two organizations that provide precision-engineered solutions for the medical device industry. The DSA team adds specialized knowledge for interventional cardiology and advanced surgical applications. DSA has consultancy services and a global network of partners and acts as an extension of costumers’ design, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
In the partnership’s first phase, DSA will support U.S. regions including California, the Rocky Mountain area, the Southeast and the Southwest including Texas, with major international coverage later this year.
“We are extremely excited about Wytech’s partnership with DSA and the immense value it will bring to our customers,” David Ohmann, CEO of Wytech told the press. “By harnessing our collective applications expertise and Wytech’s investments in state-of-the-art grinding and wire processing in Rahway, New Jersey—coupled with our recent precision machining investments at Mountain Manufacturing, our affiliate organization in Minneapolis—we expect unprecedented medical device innovation involving both wire- and metal tube-based solutions.”
“As medical devices become smaller, there’s great demand for taper grinding tiny, highly sensitive wires with precision tolerances for critical neurovascular and cardiovascular applications,” added DSA CEO Barry Schnur. “Wytech is laser focused on ultrafine core wire grinding, and they’re the best in the industry. This capability is an important addition to our offering of components for customers developing minimally invasive devices.”
