Respiratory and sleep interface products manufacturer InnoMed Technologies Inc. has launched a new CPAP full-face mask, the Aspen, to better compete with companies such as ResMed, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited, and Philips Respironics.
“With the launch of the Aspen full-face mask, InnoMed expands it product offering and completes an important interface option for our portfolio. After focus groups and meeting with patients and providers, we are pleased to announce the Aspen full-face mask is available. The mask also incorporates a unique feature that provides additional comfort for full-face mask users called SoftTouch. This is super soft padded material that is part of the forehead support,” CEO Ron Richard said.
The Aspen features a built-in chin flap, a resilient yet stable forehead pad highlighted by a SoftTouch Wrap, headgear with a crown strap and five adjustment points, a quiet exhalation port design, and three cushion sizes to fit the single mask shell optimizing inventory.
InnoMed Technologies Inc. is a research-oriented, privately held manufacturer of medical devices that treat obstructive sleep apnea and respiratory insufficiency. The Coconut Creek, Fla.-based company's products include the Nasal-Aire, Hybrid, Aloha, Sylent, Bravo and Utopia line of interfaces.
