Nonin Medical Inc., a Minneapolis, Minn.-based manufacturer of non-invasive medical monitoring, has appointed Richard J. Eagle as vice president of sales. Eagle has more than 30 years of experience involving Class II and Class III medical devices for the acute, sub-acute and extended care markets. He will grow Nonin's revenues by "addressing changes in the global sales environment, evaluating strategic partnerships, and refining competitive strategies," according to a release issued by the company.
"Rick comes to Nonin Medical with an impressive leadership record in medical device sales," said Steve Bucholz, president and chief operating officer of Nonin Medical. "Under Rick's guidance, Nonin will continue to evolve its sales infrastructure in order to meet customer demands and drive effectiveness in a selling environment of increased complexity."
Eagle's experience includes holding various global executive sales and marketing positions for CORPAK MedSystems, Teleflex Medical, Arrow International, Smiths Medical, Pryon Corporation, and C.R. Bard. He received his bachelor's degree in finance at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.
