Nashua, N.H.-based Resonetics LLC, a polymer laser micromachining services company, has named David Fogaren its new vice president of operations.
Most recently, Fogaren was vice president of site operations at Symmetricom, a designer and manufacturer of precision time-keeping technologies and instruments for the telecom, aerospace and military markets. His responsibilities there included overseeing five operating sites, leading the integration of two acquisitions, and championing a company-wide Lean Six Sigma program. Before Symmetricom, he was director of operations at Honeywell, having worked in several leadership positions at Data Instruments, which Honeywell acquired. Earlier in his career, he gained experience in medical devices at Smith & Nephew, where he worked in materials management and cost accounting. He also worked at Teradyne and Epsco.
“With Dave’s leadership experience in a variety of manufacturing companies, he offers a valuable set of skills that we’re excited to gain at Resonetics,” said Tom Burns, Resonetics’ CEO. “He brings a strong track record of scaling up operations and implementing Lean Six Sigma tools in advanced manufacturing environments.
