Noxilizer Inc., provider of room temperature, NO2 (nitrogen dioxide)-based sterilization process for life-science manufacturers, has hired a new executive to oversee sales and operations of its new European subsidiary.
Stephen Morley has joined the company as vice president of European Sales and Service for Noxilizer Limited. The move occurs nearly a year after the company’s spring 2013 asset acquisition of Saian Corporation and the creation of Noxilizer Japan KK.
“Well regarded in the industry, Steve has a demonstrated track record of building strategic partnerships and developing business opportunities that have resulted in strong revenue growth,” noted Lawrence Bruder, Noxilizer CEO. “We are confident his leadership will be an asset as we establish our European presence and grow the sterilization business.”
Morley joins Noxilizer with 30 years of operational and strategic business development experience. He previously worked for Getinge Group, most recently serving as portfolio manager with Getinge Infection Control AB. During his tenure at the company, Morley established operations for Getinge in Japan, led the integration of acquired companies, and helped establish centralized marketing and business development activities for the organization. He holds an honors degree in physics and chemistry from Nottingham University in the United Kingdom.
“This is an exciting opportunity. I am pleased to join an organization whose leadership is committed to delivering a new sterilization solution to customers,” said Morley. “I also look forward to introducing the European market to the advantages of NO2 sterilization.”
NO2 sterilization eliminates preconditioning, maintains material properties in heat-sensitive products and does not require long aeration, the company claims.
Morley will conduct business from the United Kingdom-based Noxilizer Limited office. The company’s headquarters will remain in Baltimore, Md.
Noxilizer Inc. sells sterilization and decontamination equipment to pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device manufacturers and offers contract sterilization services at its Baltimore, Md., headquarters.
