Interface Catheter Solutions’ DFW-1000 dual fluting and wrapping equipment provides a minimal profile wrapped balloon for catheter manufacturing. It has a top-loading, pivoting platform to control positioning of the catheter for fluting
and wrapping operations. The DFW-1000 has multiple storage programming configurations for streamlined set-up and operation, the firm said. Additionally, the device controls individual blade temperature, closed and open diameter and dwell time. Custom-designed and interchangeable fluting and wrapping modules accommodate a wide range of balloon diameters and lengths for increased production capacity.
