The Marriott Marquis Marina San Diego offered a beautiful setting for the 2017 event.

Chris Oleksy, founder and CEO of Oleksy Enterprises and Next Life Medical, as well as the CEO of Emergent Respiratory, provided an intriguing comparison of the devastated financial industry of 2008 with the potential healthcare supply chain in 2020.

During lunch, most attendees enjoyed a fabulous spread while others continued to establish connections within the midday networking break.

Winding down during the evening reception, attendees got a chance to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere the poolside setting permitted while still having the opportunity to increase their industry contacts.

The evening reception was a perfect close to the Summit's first day, as attendees speculated on what the conference agenda on Day 2 would offer.
