Norwood Medical named Gregg Olson as the company’s new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Olson is a medtech CDMO commercial veteran with over 20 years of experience leading high-performing business development teams in the medical device and medical technology sector.
At Norwood, Olson will focus on new business and development including revenue growth strategies, key account management, sales team development, and marketing.
Before Norwood Medical, Olson served as VP of Sales and Marketing for Velocity MedTech, a designer and manufacturer of surgical implants and sterilization systems for the orthopedic market. He also held senior leadership positions in sales and business development at TekniPlex, Vention Medical, Confluent Medical Technologies, and Flex.

Olson said, “Having had the opportunity to support the MedTech OEM customer base representing well-respected CDMO’s in my career, this opportunity to bring the 40+ years experienced Norwood team and complete process capabilities offering, to new customers is exciting. The customer focus of the Norwood team is reflected in our customer Quality and Performance impressive metrics. From our 30,000 sf Design Center supporting design and rapid prototyping, to the commercial scale of >750 CNC state-of-the-art machines, we offer customers a valuable sourcing solution offering.”
Norwood Medical has expanded its Dayton facilities to support the growing demand for manufacturing medical components and devices. The 11th building is 72,000 square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and will be fully operational in late spring.
