OKAY Industries Inc. a contract manufacturer that engineers components and subassemblies for original equipment manufacturers in the medical device and industrial markets, has welcomed John Kollar as director of Application Development. In his new role, Kollar will actively support product engineering and development, as well as spearhead the expansion of the company into new plastic molding capabilities.

Kollar brings over 30 years of specialized expertise in solution-oriented engineering, precision manufacturing and operational leadership to his new role at OKAY Industries. These skills, combined with his experience in plastic molding processes and technologies, will support the company as it expands its capabilities with new plastic molding services. The expansion will further the company’s position as a vertically-integrated, customer-focused partner, as well as support the development of innovative medical device components and sub-assemblies.
A resident of Fairfield, Conn., Kollar will be based at OKAY Industries’ headquarters in New Britain, Conn., and will provide additional support for the company’s facilities in Berlin, Conn., and Alajuela, Costa Rica.
