Charlton, Mass.-based MTD Micro Molding, a provide of micro-injection molding, has promoted Operations Manager Gary Hulecki to executive vice president.
Hulecki’s new role will expand his responsibilities to include sales, marketing, process engineering, office management and quality.
“I look forward to working with Gary as MTD continues to expand and promote capabilities that enable our customers to create challenging medical devices that improve the quality of life,” said Dennis Tully, president of MTD.
Hulecki joined the company in 2003 as an EDM programmer/operator, was promoted to production manager in 2005, and then advanced to the role of operations manager in 2009. He has more than 30 years of experience in the molding industry.
“I am proud to be a member of the MTD team and look forward to seeing the company continue to grow by focusing on new business opportunities as a strong engineering company with a customer-focused mentality,” Hulecki said.
MTD started in 1972 as an injection mold supplier to other plastic molders. Today, the company is a vertically integrated micro-molded parts supplier that is dedicated to the medical industry. Tooling is made in house, and all products are made in fully automated systems in MTD’s Class 100,000 clean rooms.
