Burlington, Mass.-based LeMaitre Vascular has completed the acquisition of Clinical Instruments International Inc. for $1.1 million. Clinical Instruments is based in Southbridge, Mass., and manufactures carotid shunts and embolectomy catheters.
LeMaitre’s second and third best selling product lines are catheters and shunts, and the acquisition of Clinical Instruments will bolster those segments. Clinical Instruments also brings two new products to the LeMaitre Vascular sales bag: latex-free carotid shunts and latex-free dual-lumen embolectomy catheters.
“We are pleased at the market and [stock keeping unit] expansion opportunity Clinical Instruments affords us, and we anticipate a smooth integration,” said David Roberts, president of LeMaitre Vascular.
