Aptiv Solutions has acquired Medical Device Consultants Inc. (MDCI). According to Aptiv Solutions, the purchase adds regulatory and quality assurance capabilities to its portfolio and strengthens its existing clinical trial management services.
“We are excited to announce the acquisition of MDCI,” said Patrick Donnelly, chairman and CEO of Reston, Va.-based Aptiv Solutions. “We look forward to leveraging the expertise of MDCI’s 30-year success with our existing portfolio of device and diagnostic consulting offerings across a broad array of therapeutic areas.”
Headquartered in North Attleboro, Mass., MDCI has developed, prepared and submitted more than 600 successful 510(k)s and participated in the development of more than 20 successful PMAs (premarket approvals). The company also has managed hundreds of clinical trials to support medical device approvals and clearance worldwide.
