Richards Micro Tool, a cutting tool manufacturer based in Plymouth, Mass., is introducing a smaller version of the QuarterHorse product line. QuarterHorse Micro has a 1/8” shank & 1.5” overall length versus ¼” & 2.5”
for QuarterHorse Mini. The common size shank is easier to handle & reduces the need for multiple
collets. The Micro line diameters range from .021” to .0114”. The 3-flute, solid carbide endmills were
designed primarily for swiss turn machines for machining hexes in pedicle and cervical screw but the
applications are unlimited. In addition to offering an extensive line (890+ products) of industrial cutting tools from .005” to .500 diameter, Richards also contract manufactures drills, taps, burrs, and reamers for medical/dental OEMs and private labels for major cutting tool OEMs. For additional information, please click on the link above.
