Hauppauge, New York, November 17, 2011: Cosense, Inc., a leading manufacturer of ultrasonic liquid level sensors, broadened its product line with the introduction of a non-invasive sensor (SL-630) for plastic containers that: is easily installed outside the container so no fluid contamination; functionality independent of color, transparency, shape and size of the bottom of the container; multiple choices of inputs/outputs including fail safe; no calibration required; and integral electronics.
“The enhancements made to the SL-630’s electronics and it non-invasive application enables the unit to function as a liquid level sensor in virtually any type of fluid,” according to William Allhusen, Cosense’s Engineering Manager. He also noted that “The product’s multiple mounting options, disposable, non-disposable and flange, allow for its applicability in a wide range of operating environments.”
The standard product is used on plastic containers from 2” (51mm) to 8” (203mm) diameter with a wall thickness up to 0.25” (6.35mm). Consult Cosense regarding different diameters and glass/metal containers.
Cosense’s Ultrasonic Engineering team of experienced electrical, mechanical and software engineers, with their 25+ patents in ultrasonic technology, design, develop and manufacture ultrasonic solutions to the their customer’s fluid management problems. The Company’s complete line of liquid level sensors and air bubble/particle detectors are engineered todeliver reliable performance in difficult environments of extreme temperatures, varying pressures and challenging fluids.
