Epoxy Withstands Multiple Sterilization Cycles
Capable of withstanding repeated cycles of autoclaving, radiation, EtO and cold sterilants, EP42HT-2Med is a room temperature curable, two part epoxy that complies with USP Class VI testing. It has excellent electrical insulation properties and can be cast in sections exceeding 2-3 inches thick. EP42HT-2Med is widely used in the health industry for manufacturing endoscopes, surgical instruments, catheters and many other medical devices.

One Part, Medical Grade Silicone System Cures Rapidly
Passing both USP Class VI testing and ISO cytotoxicity specifications, MasterSil 910Med is formulated for bonding, sealing, coating in medical device applications. As an acetoxy type system, it bonds exceptionally well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, composites, ceramics, glass as well as many rubbers and plastics. Tack free time can range from 10-20 minutes. This compound withstands liquid sterilants, gamma radiation and EtO very well. Its service temperature range is -75°F to +400°F.

One component, UV and Heat Curable Epoxy Compound
Master Bond UV15DC80Med is a special dual cure epoxy based system that offers a primary cure using UV light along with a secondary heat curing mechanism. This adhesive allows for curing areas on parts that do not allow UV light curing because of “shadowing” issues. The heat curing portion of this system can be initiated at the relatively lower temperature of 80°C. It also meets USP Class VI specifications and passes ISO 10993-5 testing. UV15DC80Med has very good temperature resistance along with the capability of withstanding many chemicals including liquid sterilants, radiation and even steam.
