For medical staff treating COVID-19 patients, inserting and removing breathing tubes are among the highest risk for exposure to the virus. A team of anesthesiologists at Emory University and engineers at Georgia Tech have created an aerosol box design to contain droplet spray with a goal of reducing the risk to frontline staff.
