greenteg Presents Fever Sensing Solution at MEDICA

By Michael Barbella, Managing Editor | 11.15.23

Technology enables clinicians to make informed treatment decisions remotely.

greenteg AG is showcasing its fever sensing solution this week at MEDICA, the world's largest medical trade fair.

The company's patented sensing solution, CALERA, accurately and non-invasively monitors fever with only skin-surface contact. The wireless solution allows medical professionals to make informed treatment decisions remotely, thus enabling hospitals to free up resources so healthcare professionals can focus on selected patients.

CALERA uses patented sensing technology to continuously and non-invasively track fever by skin surface contact only. Thanks to a miniaturized heat flux sensor, the temperature reading is not influenced by external conditions such as the weather. Combined with an AI based algorithm and a patented thermal integration design, it provides accurate data of body temperature fluctuations.The medical-grade sensor enables medical professionals to remotely track patients' temperature changes while patients freely move (or be discharged for home recovery).

greenteg's certified sensors are developed and manufactured in Switzerland and integrated into smart wearables across various industries worldwide.

The company is displaying CALERA in Hall 12 at Stand D33. MEDICA is taking place through Nov. 16 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
