Tegra Medical Receives Recommendation for ISO 13485:2003 Registration

Tegra Medical was informed by its notified body TÜV SÜD America Inc., that it has successfully passed audits at both of its facilities and has been recommended for ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2000 registration under a single certificate.

Tegra Medical was certified to both standards previously at its Holliston facility (formerly known as New England Precision Grinding). With the relocation of that facility and the Cranston, R.I. site (formerly Accu-Met Laser) to the new Franklin site, re-certification became necessary. Tegra chose to standardize its quality system and also certify the Dartmouth site (formerly American Medical Instruments) to the same ISO standards.
