Meller Sapphire Windows for ER:YAG, HO:YAG, and Alexandrite laser hand pieces are durable and cleanable, making them ideal where frequent skin contact and cleaning are required.  Available in a full range of standard and custom sizes, sapphire windows transmit up to 85 percent un-coated and can be coated to enhance transmission up to >99 percent, depending upon thickness.

Eliminating absorption at 2.94 µm, Meller Sapphire Windows are capable of transmitting from the UV through 4.7 µm.  Extremely durable and chemically inert, they feature Moh 9 hardness (second to diamond), flatness to 1/10th wave, parallelism to 2 arc-sec., and surface finishes to <0.5 nm.  Custom fabrication can include wedges, mounting holes, steps and other features.
