Perspectives on Post-Pandemic: Rise of Efficiency-Driven Solutions

MPO reached out to members of industry to address the following question:

What do you expect will be one significant change within medtech development and/or manufacturing as a result of the pandemic?

In response, Jim Medsker, president of Keystone Solutions, said:

The industry will continue to trend toward being more inclusive in development efforts and collaborate with all key stakeholders in the value chain. The pandemic has exposed global supply chain weaknesses. Systemic issues in the ability of the medical device industry must be responsive. This will drive new levels of efficiency-driven solutions, and encourage the medtech industry to rethink sourcing while developing new products.
