Vyaire Names John Bibb as Group CEO

Vyaire Medical has appointed medical device veteran John Bibb as its group CEO, effective immediately.
 
Bibb has over 20 years’ experience in the medical device industry, most recently leading Vyaire as chief legal officer and secretary, human resources. He’s worked directly with Apax for over ten years. Bibb also played a crucial role in the recent sale of Vyaire’s consumables business to SunMed.

He is perfectly positioned to execute on our ambitious vision for the business.”
 
Before Vyaire, Bibb was executive VP, general counsel, and chief human resources officer at Acelity. He spent more than 15 years there, leading key business initiatives in HR, commercial partnerships, joint ventures, M&A, and efficient delivery of shared services to multiple business units. He joined Vyaire in 2021.
 
“Vyaire remains focused on delivering to our customers and accelerating the strategic growth plans for our pioneering Respiratory Diagnostics and Ventilation business units,” said Bibb. “I will work closely with the leaders of the Respiratory Diagnostics and Ventilation business units to meet customer needs, build on our market leadership and create value for our employees and shareholders.”
 
After the sale of the Vyaire consumables business, the company established two distinct business teams specializing in each portfolio.
