Vivalink has enhanced its top leadership team with the addition of Daniel Manak as vice president of Clinical Trials, Roy Grossberg as product advisor, and Joseph Tyers as commercial advisor. Their respective roles will expand the adoption of Vivalink’s digital health technologies in clinical research.

“Together, Manak, Grossberg, and Tyers will provide hands-on support for our commercial team as well as effective vision for our overall corporate and go-to-market strategies,” Vivalink CEO Jiang Li stated. “Their leadership will be key to accelerating our growth within the clinical trial space at an even faster pace.”

Manak brings extensive experience in clinical research and life sciences business development. His background includes selling technical innovations that support clinical trials across clinical research organization (CRO) services, medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, and research sites. His sales experience spans software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms, AI/ML data solutions, digital biomarkers, and wearables.

“This is an important growth phase for the company which is already successful in the clinical trial and healthcare markets,” Manak said. “A primary goal of mine is to continue to optimize clinical trial outcomes. By building upon Vivalink’s data collection capabilities and easing trial subjects’ experience, we can improve patient retention and lead to more robust data collection to inform clinical research teams on the development of therapeutics and treatment protocols.”

Grossberg provides a breadth of experience in product management and technology leadership across digital health and pharmaceuticals. As a former head of digital patient solutions at AstraZeneca, he advanced clinical research and the development of new therapeutics. Grossberg brings his experience leading the design, development, and growth of innovative tools using AI, wearable devices, and contactless technology to this new role at Vivalink.

“Vivalink is uniquely positioned at the intersection of clinical research and digital innovation,” Grossberg commented. “I’m excited to help shape product strategy that delivers measurable value to pharma sponsors, patients, and providers—by turning cutting-edge technology into real-world impact.”

Tyers is an industry veteran and former senior vice president of Sales, Value Management and Commercial Operations at Medidata Solutions. He also previously served as chief revenue and chief customer officer at SHYFT Analytics, head of Commercial at Koneksa Health, and as the founder of acSELLerate Consulting LLC. Tyers has a wealth of experience in scaling high-growth life science and healthcare technology companies from an early stage through successful IPOs and acquisitions.

“Vivalink is poised to become the predominant digital healthcare solutions provider within clinical trial and Hospital-at-Home settings within cardiology, respiratory, pulmonary hypertension, neurology, and oncology,” Tyers said. “I’m excited to join this team at a pivotal time in their growth and bring maximum impact to our customers and patients.”

Vivalink provides digital healthcare solutions for remote patient monitoring in healthcare and clinical trials. By combining medical wearables, advanced algorithms, and clinical applications, the company provides a more effective and accessible approach to patient care worldwide.
