Visioneering Technologies Names Manager of Logistics

Brandon Blanchard has been named manager of Logistics for Visioneering Technologies Inc., (VTI) according to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Tony Sommer. VTI is a global company dedicated to improving vision through a product portfolio including the NaturalVue brand of contact lenses.
 
“As our company continues its rapid growth we want to ensure that we can respond to market changes,” said Sommer. “We look forward to utilizing Brandon’s years of experience to oversee our supply chain and distribution to continue our expansion in the U.S. and internationally.”
 
Blanchard brings more than 12 years of experience in logistics for diverse industries. Before joining VTI, he was Logistics/Procurement manager for Consolidated Container Company, a supplier of rigid plastic packaging solutions to national, regional and local customers across North America. Prior to that he served as senior logistics analyst – Direct Fulfillment for Home Depot. Other experience includes senior continuous improvement analyst with Accenture and domestic cargo supervisor with Expeditors International.
 
Blanchard received his bachelor of science degree in business administration logistics from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala. He has also earned Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
 
“I am very excited to join Visioneering Technologies Inc. as the manager of Logistics,” said Blanchard. “My experience in identifying potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain will help ensure that the company will be able to minimize risks along our increasingly expanding supply chain. I’m looking forward to building out the logistics framework to help VTI continue to grow and expand in the future.”

VTI optical designs have been awarded 12 patents worldwide, with an additional seven pending.
