Vernay Continues Rebranding Initiative

New website builds on recent efforts to reshape the company's look and message.

Vernay is rebranding.

According to the fluid-control company, the change to its logo, website and marketing message “reinforces its core competencies, strategic initiatives,” and the value proposition it offers customers.

In early January, Vernay unveiled a new logo, tagline and what it calls a “positioning message.” A new website design followed recently, with an emphasis on material development expertise as well as the company’s “concept to launch” program for product design.

“We were looking for a Web presence that accurately reflects our core competencies and market-based value proposition,” said Andy Woodward, vice president of Global Sales and Marketing. “Since we are a highly technical company, it is important that our website delivers this message in a clear, concise manner. We are very pleased with the result.”

Vernay’s engineered components are used in everyday products including automobiles, printers, lawn and garden equipment and consumer products such as large and small appliances as well as household cleaning products. They also can be found in critical applications including medical devices, irrigation systems and fuel cells.

To keep up with global demand, the company must develop new geometries, custom formulations and unique manufacturing technologies to create high-performance, dependable components, officials noted. Experience in fluid control has led to advances in analytical design and laboratory testing tools, including Vernay-proprietary tools, to help reduce development cycles.

The new brand design reflects a “modern, forward looking and environmentally responsible” company, according to a press release. The swoosh graphic above the “V” emphasizes fluid control innovations that flow from and to the core of Vernay. On the new website, each of Vernay’s key markets has its own section, which will evolve to reflect the unique products, applications and challenges for that industry.

Over time, application-specific case studies will expand along with the return of product information sheets.

Vernay, a trademark of Vernay Laboratories Inc., is based in Atlanta, Ga.
