Vektor Medical has appointed Kelly Perez as chief financial officer (CFO) and senior vice president of Operations, strengthening its leadership team as adoption of vMap accelerates.

“Kelly brings deep financial expertise, operational discipline, and healthcare experience that will be invaluable as Vektor continues to grow,” Vektor Medical CEO Rob Krummen stated. “Her track record building strong organizations and guiding companies through growth positions Vektor to accelerate vMap adoption, expand our reach with physicians, and deliver improved outcomes for patients around the world.”

Perez will help guide Vektor’s financial strategy and operations to support vMap’s increasing adoption. A seasoned healthcare executive, she brings a strong record of scaling companies and leadership experience from roles at Omniome, Luxtera, and Sequenom.

“Joining Vektor at this inflection point is a tremendous opportunity,” Perez said. “vMap is a high-impact solution that is designed to improve patient outcomes without disrupting workflows, and I look forward to expanding operations and aligning financial strategy to support Vektor’s mission of advancing cardiac care in an efficient and sustainable way.”

Vektor’s core technology, vMap, is the only U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared, non-invasive arrhythmia analysis tool that uses a standard 12-lead ECG to localize both focal and fibrillation-type arrhythmias in the heart’s four chambers in under a minute. vMap is designed for broad adoption, with a recurring revenue model tied to procedure volume and the advantage of being a software-first solution. Its traction across health systems positions Vektor to expand collaborations with medtech partners focused on improving outcomes and procedural efficiency.

“The Board is delighted to welcome Kelly to the executive team,” Vektor Medical Board Chairman Mike Monko commented. “Her proven ability to scale organizations and navigate complex healthcare markets strengthens Vektor’s foundation for long-term success and impact in improving arrhythmia care. We are confident her leadership will help guide the company through its next phase of expansion and deliver meaningful value to patients, providers, and partners.”

Headquartered in San Diego, Vektor Medical is redefining the way in which arrhythmias are understood and treated. The company developed vMap, an FDA-cleared, non-invasive technology that uses standard 12-lead ECG data to localize arrhythmia source locations across the heart’s four chambers. By helping physicians identify arrhythmia drivers more quickly and with greater accuracy, Vektor is improving outcomes, enhancing efficiencies, and accelerating access to effective treatment strategies.
