Two Vascular Companies Partner on Blood Clot Removal Tech

Shanghai Easy-Flow Medical Technology Co. Ltd. and Control Medical Technology LLC are teaming up to commercialize the Control Mechanical Thrombectomy platform in China.

The Control Mechanical Thrombectomy System has been used in thousands of procedures to remove blood clots from the peripheral, coronary, and neuro vasculature.

Control Medical addresses thrombectomy needs with peripheral and coronary catheters powered by a best-in-class single-use mechanical aspirator and/or electric pump.”

Coronary thrombectomy in the heart treats acute myocardial infarction (AMI); neurovascular thrombectomy in the brain treats acute ischemic stroke; and peripheral thrombectomy treats peripheral arterial disease (PAD), chronic total occlusion (CTO), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), hemodialysis access occlusions, and other conditions. Certain technologies and procedures remove more healthy blood than others creating a patient safety risk.
