Three Firms Invest $11M in Endoscopic Technologies

Three companies are investing $11 million in Endoscopic Technologies.

Boston Scientific Corp. and two smaller companies have invested $11 million in West Coast medical device manufacturer Endoscopic Technologies Inc., according to the Journal of New England Technology.

A filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission reports Endoscopic is looking to raise $25 million and San Francisco, CA-based venture capital firms Telegraph Hill Partners and Saints Capital invested 10%.

This is the second time Natick, MA- based Boston Scientific has invested in Endoscopic. In 2004, Boston Scientific made an equity investment in the firm for an undisclosed amount and was given the option to purchase Endoscopic.
