Tegra Medical Announces New General Manager for Franklin Facility 

Tegra Medical, an end-to-end contract manufacturer of medical devices, is pleased to announce that John Rieth has accepted the position of general manager at the company’s Franklin, Mass., location. Rieth will report to President/CEO J. Mark King and will be responsible for the local management team and plant operations. 
 
Rieth has over 25 years of management experience in various industries with a wide breadth of organizational functions, including engineering, manufacturing, R&D, product management, and operations.
 
“We are delighted to have John join our team in Franklin,” said King. “His wealth of experience in plant management and engineering coupled with his industry experience makes him an excellent fit for this position.” 
 
Rieth’s recent positions include director of operations at Pharmasol Corporation, operations/engineering manager at Smiths Medical, and engineering director at Dow Chemical. He also served as engineering director at both Rohm and Haas and Eastman Kodak. 
 
Rieth is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt and has five patents in his name. He received his BS degree in mechanical engineering at Northeastern University and attended the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
