StatLab Medical Products has launched its Diapath signature pathology instruments in the United States. The products are designed to enhance productivity, precision, and safety.

The instruments’ U.S. debut fulfills the strategic vision behind StatLab’s 2024 acquisition of Diapath—to bring differentiated histology instrumentation to U.S. laboratories and deliver a comprehensive end-to-end pathology workflow solution.

Advancing innovation across the pathology workflow, the flagship instruments include:

  • Donatello Automated Tissue Processor (Series 3): Delivering consistent quality, safer handling, and high-capacity performance for busy labs.
  • Galileo Precision-Engineered Microtome (Series 2): Built for labs that demand accuracy and user flexibility while also offering increased throughput using the PRO System.
  • Dante Ergonomic Embedding Center: Designed to boost technician comfort and efficiency with industry-leading capacity.

“When we acquired Diapath, our vision was clear: to expand access to the most innovative histology instrumentation worldwide,” StatLab CEO Dae Hong said. “That meant strengthening our footprint in Europe while also preparing to introduce Diapath instruments to laboratories in the United States. With the launch of these initial instruments in the U.S., we are delivering on that promise—giving lab professionals access to new technology that transforms efficiency, precision, and the day-to-day working experience. And this is just the beginning—additional Diapath products will follow, further expanding StatLab’s ability to support every step of the pathology workflow.”

StatLab Medical Products offerd self-manufactured pathology equipment and consumables from 10 manufacturing sites in the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe. Its global operational footprint powered by more than 800 mission-driven colleagues delivers a supply chain of products and solutions.
