SS Innovations Taps Vicarious Surgical CFO for Chief Finance Role

SS Innovations has appointed Sarah Romano as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective August 3. Romano will be based in the U.S.

Romano touts over 20 years of experience leading capital strategy, corporate growth, and financial operations in the medical technology and life sciences industries. She was most recently CFO of robotic surgery company Vicarious Surgical.

She also previously held the CFO role for Entero Therapeutics and Kiora Pharmaceuticals. Throughout her career, Romano has raised over $100 million through public and private financings, with robust experience supporting emerging growth public companies, including robotic surgery and medtech organizations.

Romano began her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts.
