SINBON Electronics Achieves MedAccred Accreditation

SINBON Electronics has become the first Asian company to gain MedAccred accreditation for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies.

During a challenging four-day audit, the SINBON team in Jiangyin successfully demonstrated that its manufacturing processes are fully compliant with MedAccred’s Audit Criteria for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies (AC8121). “To be the first company in Asia to receive an accreditation of any type from MedAccred is a tremendous accolade for SINBON,” the firm’s management team commented. “It is a clear demonstration that SINBON takes very seriously its commitment to providing our customers with top-quality products. By earning this accreditation from the MedAccred program, which is recognized by so many key companies in the industry, SINBON is sending a clear message to the market that we are dedicated to the highest standards of quality for critical process manufacturing.”
 
MedAccred is a global audit program for critical process manufacturing. It is being used by the medical device industry to reduce risk to patient safety, assure quality products and compliance to both general industry requirements (including international standards), and requirements from participating medical device OEMs which include Johnson & Johnson and Philips. MedAccred is administered by the not-for-profit Performance Review Institute which also manage Nadcap program for aerospace industries.

Following its success in Jiangyin, SINBON now plans to implement MedAccred in several other global sites.
