PTI Engineered Plastics Launches Product Design Firm

Firms in the medical device industry—an certainly other sectors as well—are increasing their demand for outsourcing partners in all areas of the product development and manufacturing process. Design certainly is part of that equation.

To that end, PTI Engineered Plastics launced of PTI Design, a stand-alone product design and development firm.  PTI Design will deliver product and industrial design services with a focus on manufacturability across diverse industry segments, the company said.

According to Rathbone, PTI Design grew from a market need for a product design and development firm able to conceive great concepts, yet have the experience and capability to convert ideas into quality, viable and manufacturable products and components.
