Probo Medical to Acquire Alpha Source Group

Probo Medical, a provider of medical imaging equipment, parts, repair, and service, has begun a deal to acquire Alpha Source Group, to expand its diagnostic imaging solutions platform.
 
Alpha Source—comprised of subsidiaries Alpha Source Biomed Solutions, BC Technical Imaging Solutions, and Medical Optics Surgical Solutions—was founded in 1986. The company offers technical field service, depot repair, equipment refurbishment and resale, and parts distribution to North American healthcare providers.
 
With over100 field-based engineers, Alpha Source says it’s one of the largest field service organizations for diagnostic imaging equipment in North America.

For Alpha Source, there are multiple commercial and growth opportunities that will come as being a part of the Probo platform.
