Polygon Solutions Joins Southwest Regional Manufacturer’s Association

The company joins the ranks of other major industry players in the Southwest Florida region.

The Southwest Regional Manufacturer’s Association (SRMA) has a new member in Polygon Solutions Inc., the Fort Myers, Fla.-based manufacturer of rotary broaching tools. SRMA aims to bring manufacturers together to encourage the development of Southwest Florida via manufacturing. Polygon joins the association after experiencing some growth in its market sector.

Polygon’s tools are used to make hexagon, square, and other shaped holes in precision metal parts. Typical parts made using rotary broaching include bone screws, custom fasteners, and small shafts with serrated or spline ends.

This year, Polygon received the Manufacturing Leadership Award for Innovative Enterprise. The Manufacturing Leadership 100 Awards, now in their eighth year, honor manufacturing companies and individual manufacturing leaders that are shaping the future of global manufacturing. If it keeps following this path of innovation, Polygon will join other manufacturer such as Arthrex and Structure Medical who already play an important part of the Southwest Florida industry landscape.

“SRMA is pleased to accept Polygon Solutions, Inc. to our membership,” said Betsy Allen, executive director of SRMA. “They join an esteemed and inspired group of large and small manufacturers all interested in a better educated manufacturing-ready workforce, lobbying for more manufacturing support at the local, state and national levels and overall advocacy for manufacturers.”

“SRMA is committed to helping manufacturers of all sizes realize value through the association with tangible returns of time saved, money saved and networking with like-minded individuals,” added SRMA President Matt Chambers.
