Philips Releases Zenition 30 Mobile C-arm

Philips has launched its Image-Guided Therapy Mobile C-arm System 3000 – Zenition 30, the latest product from its Zenition mobile C-arm series.
 
The company said Zenition 30 can give surgeons more control to help them work more autonomously and independently, in order to alleviate the staff shortages that many hospitals face. This launch follows the recent rollout of Philips’ Zenition 10 C-arm.
 
“Based on our Zenition platform’s proven ease of use and workflow efficiency, the new Zenition 30 offers a unique combination of personalized control and image clarity to enhance the speed and accuracy of decision-making for a range of clinical procedures at a price point that meets today’s economic and business goals,” Mark Stoffels, General Manager, Philips Image Guided Therapy Systems, told the press.
 
According to Philips, Zenition 30’s range of procedures include orthopedics, trauma, spine, pain management, and other surgical procedures. The mobile C-arm features the company’s latest-gen flat generator technology, advanced imaging algorithms, and personalized user profiles. When the surgeon logs on, Zenition 30 automatically adjusts to their preferred settings and way of working to limit manual adjustments.

 
In independent usability studies with clinicians working in simulated environments, Philips reported that 95% said they believed Zenition 30’s enhanced surgeon control would let them work independently. 84% believed its personalized image quality profiles meant that fewer images may be needed during a procedure, because the first image already has their preferred settings.
