OmniGuide Holdings Expands Executive Team

OmniGuide Holdings Inc., the parent company of OmniGuide Surgical Inc., Domain Surgical Inc., and LISA Laser Products GmbH, has appointed Giorgio Brusa as its vice president of Global Marketing, and Matthew Rice as managing director of its OmniGuide Surgical Strategic Business Unit.
 
Brusa joins OmniGuide with a proven track record implementing and developing global market strategies in the Urology, GYN, ENT, and GI market segments. Most recently, Brusa served as the global marketing director at Syneron Candela, helping to drive the growth of their RF business. Prior to his role at Syneron Candela, Brusa served as senior global market manager at MedRobotics leading their robotics effort in the ENT business segment. Brusa has also held multiple graduating global marketing positions while employed at Olympus, Rivanna Medical LLC, and DuPont Corporation.
 
Brusa will be responsible for worldwide marketing activities with a focus on expanding OmniGuide’s market share in its core business segments through the implementation of brand development activities, technology partnership development, and fostering strategic account relationships with global surgical business leaders.
 
Rice brings over 20 years of experience including most recently serving as managing director of Bionostics Inc., a Boston-based medical device company, where he held complete P & L responsibility across all functions of the business for multiple sites serving the diagnostic medical device industry at large. Prior to his role at Bionostics Inc., Rice also served as vice president of Operations, director of Manufacturing, as well as head of Engineering for Bionostics, Inc.
 
Rice joins OmniGuide with a proven track record of building businesses and operational teams that routinely outperform expectations. He also possesses a passion and drive for implementing strategies that enhance corporate cultures coupled with the development of high-performing teams. As managing director, Rice will guide the SBU’s technology innovation strategy as well as oversee daily operations to support the company’s rapid product growth and business trajectory.
