New MEAN WELL Service Center Opens on East Coast

Power solutions provider MEAN WELL USA has opened a new East Coast service center, located in Marlton, N.J. The facility represents a significant milestone in the company’s mission to deliver reliable power solutions to its North American customers.
 
Seven years after establishing its original East Coast office, MEAN WELL USA relocated to a new facility and rebranded it as the New Jersey Service Center (NJSC). Strategically situated 30 minutes from downtown Philadelphia and 90 minutes from New York City, the NJSC operates within a 6,000-square-foot professional facility that will play a vital role in delivering local sales and engineering support services.
 
More than just a sales office, the NJSC is a hub of innovation and expertise. The center will soon feature a state-of-the-art training facility where MEAN WELL will host product demonstrations, technical seminars, and training sessions to support the professional growth and knowledge of customers and partners. Additionally, the NJSC is equipped with an engineering lab dedicated to product testing and troubleshooting.
 
Aligned with MEAN WELL’s dedication to sustainability, the NJSC facility is powered by a 40kW rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system, generating more than 46,000 kWh of renewable electricity annually. This initiative is part of the SDG group’s ongoing efforts to reduce the firm’s environmental footprint while continuing to provide reliable and efficient power solutions.
 
Founded in 1982, MEAN WELL is one of the few manufacturers dedicated to standard power supplies. It is ranked the third in global power supply (DC output) makers, according to a March 2021 report by Micro Technology Consultant. Differing from the first three manufacturers’ ODM/OEM oriented business model, almost 99% sales turnovers by MEAN WELL come from standard power supply products sold under its brand name.
