NeuroMetrix Pain Relief Device Now Available in Chain Drug Stores

NeuroMetrix Inc. announced today that Quell will be available, beginning this month, in approximately 1,000 chain drug stores as part of a retail test with the two largest U.S. drug retailers.

Quell is cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and designed for those  suffering from chronic pain. Quell gives users the option to start, stop, and adjust therapy discreetly via their smartphone. It also enables advanced sleep tracking that provides feedback on eight dimensions of sleep including sleep duration, quality, body position, time out of bed, and repetitive leg movements throughout the night. Quell is available at select healthcare professionals and retailers.
 
Quell utilizes NeuroMetrix’s patented neurostimulation technology to provide widespread relief from chronic pain. The advanced wearable device is lightweight and can be worn during the day while active, and at night while sleeping. It has been cleared by the FDA for treatment of chronic pain without a prescription. In a recent study, 81 percent of Quell users reported an improvement in their chronic pain. Quell includes a smartphone app that tracks and personalizes their pain therapy.
