Three mergers occurred last month. Pulse Technolgies was purchased by Integer for $140 million. CardioFocus bought the electrophysiology technology division from Galvanize Therapeutics. Lastly, Cynosure and Lutronic Aesthetics firms began a merger that is expected to close in Q1 2024. 
 
The FDA recalled ResMed’s AirFit and AirTouch CPAP masks for potential magnetic interference. Philips also stopped sales of the Sleep Apnea device due to a previous FDA recall
 
Last month the FDA cleared the ACES Automatic Continuous Effusion Shunt System from Pleural Dynamics. The company now plans real-world clinical use of the ACES System with select hospitals and health systems.
