ResMed cited a multi-center study with experience CPAP users that showed 92.6% preferred AirTouch N30i for long-term use, with 96.7% rating it “appealing” or “very appealing” for its look and feel.

Pi-Cardia Ltd. scored well with website visitors for the FDA clearance of ShortCut—the world’s first dedicated leaflet modification device, enabling valve-in-valve Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedures in patients at risk of coronary obstruction. ShortCut’s design allows for safe, simple splitting of single or dual leaflets using the same device, according to the company.

The most preferred personnel news this past week came from Zeus, which appointed Tim Sette as CFO. Sette has more than a decade of experience—before joining Zeus, he was CFO at Spectra Medical Devices, and prior to that, held various roles with increasing responsibility at Becton Dickinson, where he was ultimately responsible for the global FP&A process for a $1.5 billion business unit.

The Global Life Science Alliance garnered visitors’ interest as well—not surprising, considering its approach to executive talent search and leadership consulting.
