Cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and supply chain best practices captivated visitors this past week to MPO’s website.

An online exclusive from Full Spectrum detailed the common patterns used throughout the medtech industry to address cybersecurity concerns: implementing a zero trust architecture, building a network of trust, and securing the supply chain.

MPO loyalists looking for advice on the latter pattern found it in another website exclusive (from M. Holland Company) that offered tips on building a more balanced, resilient supply chain, which include managing materials critical to production; using globally popular raw materials; and taking advantage of OEM buy-ahead programs.

Those with a penchant for artificial intelligence flocked to Medtronic’s news of its partnership with Allurion on AI-powered weight loss technology. Other traffic-driven technology news came from Siemens Healthineers‘ new PET/CT scanner, and Route 92 Medical’s newly-cleared stroke treatment device.
