Unsurprisingly, topping headlines this week was Philips Respironics’ Class 1 recall of its V60, V60 Plus, and V680 ventilators over electrical circuit issues. Not far behind was the beginning of a Medtronic-GE Healthcare partnership to provide extensive product portfolios, financial solutions, and service for Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Office-Based Labs. In third was a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) nod for 3D Systems’ VSP Bolus, a tool to deliver high-quality patient-specific radiotherapy treatment accessories.
