Moll Industries Opens Tucson Operations

Moll Industries, Inc., manufacturer of high-precision plastic components and fully assembled medical devices, has announced that it is up and running in its new Tucson facility
    Dallas-based Moll transferred its West Coast operations from Costa Mesa, Calif. to Tucson, and invested $3.5 million in overhauling an 85,000-square-foot facility, including investments in infrastructure, grounds preparation, building improvements and a 5,000-square-foot clean room.
    The new site also includes a 25,000-square-foot warehouse.
    Medical molding and non-medical molding and assembly are slated to be in full production after a brief ramp-up period, company officials said. Moll Industries is a contract manufacturer of custom plastic injection-molded components.
