Medline to Buy Medi Globe Group’s ASID BONZ Biz

Healthcare supplies manufacturer and distributor Medline has begun a deal to acquire Medi-Globe Group’s ASID BONZ GmbH, a German supplier of surgery, anesthesia, ward supply, and urology products.
 
Founded in 1811, ASID BONZ is known as the first-ever developer of anesthesia. ASID BONZ earned over 30 million Euros in revenue and served over 1,100 German hospitals in 2021.
 
Medline aims to expand the ASID BONZ brand outside of Germany to its broad base of European customers. ASID BONZ’s sales force will have access to Medline’s products as well.

This acquisition grows our presence in these areas of the hospital. ASID BONZ’s employees, products and service have a long-standing and trusted reputation and this combination will enable us to better meet the needs of our healthcare customers and become a more valued partner.”

The sale increases Medi-Globe’s focus on the core business – the development and marketing of innovative single-use products for minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures”.
 
The business combination is expected to be completed in May.
