Johnson & Johnson Subsidiary to Expand, Add Jobs in Rochester

Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, a division of Johnson & Johnson and a leading provider of diagnostic solutions for the global health care community, will commit $80 million to maintain and expand its operations in the Rochester area. Ortho will retain its existing workforce of more than 1,100 people, and add 50 new jobs over the next three years. In addition to the purchase of machinery and equipment, Ortho-Clinical will acquire Building 313 at Kodak Park – a building it now leases – firmly rooting itself in Monroe County. Ortho-Clinical employs more than 1,100 people in the suburban Rochester Town of Greece and at Kodak Park in Rochester where it maintains its research headquarters. In recognition of its commitment to investing in New York, Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics has been awarded a $2 million capital grant from Empire State Development.
