Integra LifeSciences Releases MicroMatrix Flex in the US

Integra LifeSciences Corporation released MicroMatrix Flex commercially in the US. MicroMatrix Flex is a dual-syringe system that enables convenient mixing and precise delivery of MicroMatrix paste in hard-to-reach spaces and helps prepare an even wound surface in challenging wound areas.
 
“We’re excited to be adding MicroMatrix Flex to our market-leading portfolio of dermal matrices,” Steve Powick, senior vice president of Global Marketing, Tissue Technologies Product Division told the press. “This innovation is the culmination of working closely with surgeons to solve meaningful treatment problems and set new standards of care.”
 
MicroMatrix Flex is designed for managing partial and full-thickness wounds, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, diabetic ulcers, tunned/undermined wounds, trauma wounds, surgical wounds, and draining wounds.
 
A flexible tip is included in the device to address tunneled, undermined, or irregular wounds. The mixing system produces a paste of flowable consistency to provide contact with all areas of the wound.
