Integer Adds Tony Carr to its Executive Leadership Team

New hire has worked for Getinge and Boston Scientific.

Integer Holdings Corporation has welcomed Tony Carr to its C-Suite as executive vice president, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs. He’ll report to Integer President/CEO Joe Dziedzic.

Carr succeeds Margaret Carthy, who is retiring from the company next month. In his new role, Carr will lead all aspects of the quality and regulatory strategy at Integer, including quality assurance, design assurance, regulatory affairs, clinical affairs, and post-market surveillance. He is responsible for the development and oversight of programs, policies, and procedures that enable Integer to consistently deliver quality standards while meeting or exceeding global regulatory requirements.

Carr has a solid background in strategic planning, quality systems, new product development, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance leadership experience in the medtech industry. He most recently worked as senior vice president, Global Quality, Regulatory & Compliance for Getinge. Before that, he held roles of increasing leadership responsibility focused on global quality for Boston Scientific Corp., for more than 20 years.

Carr earned an MBA and diploma in management from Open University and a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from National University of Ireland in Galway.
