Ingen Technolgies Appoints New CEO

Ingen Technologies Inc. has a new leader.

The Riverside, Calif., firm has named David S. Hanson as its new CEO. Hanson replaces retiring chief executive Thomas Neavitt, who led the company since the start of 2011 (he previously served as chief financial officer since 2004). Neavitt retired for personal reasons.

“Mr. Hanson will be a great asset to Ingen and we are confident that he will hit the ground running,” Board Chairman Gary Tilden said. “His knowledge and understanding of the issues important to our business model will ensure our continued success well into the future.”

Neavitt said Hanson’s wireless telecommunications experience will serve him well in the healthcare industry.

“We are very gratified and excited that Dave will be joining us. Dave’s breadth of experience in the wireless telecom industry, including executive roles in the cable industry with Viacom, DIVA in addition to being the co-founder of AgileTV, will prove invaluable in representing the interests of Ingen and all of its shareholders,” he noted in a news release.

Ingen was established in 1999 to research and develop home healthcare products for the respiratory market. The company manufactures and markets products for patients suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease who require oxygen therapy through home healthcare, hospitals, military and government-based medical facilities. Specifically, Ingen makes oxygen flow meters and nasal cannulas under the trademark name Oxyview and Smart Nasal Cannula.
